Minnich leads NCAA II in on base percentage, slugging percentage, runs batted in, and base on balls per game, while ranking second in batting average, home runs, home runs per game, and base on balls in the latest rankings. Minnich was a unanimous first team choice and Regional Player of the Year by Daktronics, NCBWA, and ABCA/Rawlings and was a finalist for the Tino Martinez Award last season as well after batting a WVIAC-best .433 with 52 hits in 120 at-bats. He also led the conference with 14 homers and 103 total bases while finishing third in runs (42) and RBIs (38).
