ANTHONY BOZA LYNN FIGHTING KNIGHTS Class: Senior Hometown: Miami, FL Position: 1B

A senior out of Miami, Fla., Boza has already been selected the Sunshine State Conference Co-Player of the Year as well as Daktronics and NCBWA South Region Player of the Year.  He posted some gaudy numbers for the Blue & White, finishing the season with a .388 batting average, 33 runs scored, 18 doubles, 14 home runs, 52 runs batted in and a .707 slugging percentage.  He ranked first in the SSC in slugging, RBI and total bases (133) while he finished in the top-five for batting, doubles and home runs.

Boza earned South Region Player of the Year Accolades for Daktronics, American Baseball Coaches Association and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association in addition to his Sunshine State Conference Co-Player of the Year recognition.  He becomes the first player in program history to accomplish that feat.
